I've noticed that the 'Fritos' smell emerges after Momo licks his feet. It can be a mixture of sweat (do dogs sweat?) & saliva. His feet are not dirty bc we always wash it w/oatmeal shampoo after coming in from outside.
I'm a groomer, so I think keeping the pad hairs trimmed is essential. It keeps dirt & stuff from sticking to it & its also more comfortable for the dog when they're walking on all fours. I have also noticed a peculiar smell on some dogs when blow-drying their paws. It's not the 'Fritos' or 'Popcorn' smell. Maybe that's the 'fungus' or 'yeast' smell. |
