I say it is their loss!! I was working a Tag Day in front of the grocery store for the shelter I volunteer for and this man came up to me and said what are collecting for (even though I had a big red vest that said Save A Pet on it) I said for dogs and cats at the no kill shelter, he says I hate animals! I couldn't say much because I was representing the shelter but said oh don't hate them they are wonderful. He gave me a dollar anyway and says again I hate animals and they all belong outside. I was so shocked that people would come up and say that, just keep that to yourself!! |
