Hi,
I have a six month of yorkie who currently weighs 2 pounds and will finish off around 2 1/2. She is totally healthy. She is very fragile and requires a lot of attention. You will need to keep her away from small children.
If the breeder is AKC I would think the puppy is ok. You could ask them to a bile acid test.
