I have 2 females. One is 4yrs old the other is 3yrs old. Sadie (older one) had her first heat at 9 months old. Lillie didn't come in heat until she was almost 18 months. Lillie is smaller than Sadie. I don't know if this made the difference. They are both spayed. I would suggest, unless you plan on breeding, that you have her spayed as soon as possible. You don't want any accidents to happen. Especially where he is trying to mount her.. JMO
