Did you actually see dry flaky skin or did you just see flakes in the coat? If the pup has not had its first bath yet, then it is possible you would see some flakes. Puppies get pee on their coats when they are young and when it dries it makes flakes. If the owner had not been brushing them yet then that might be all it is. I like to start brushing and combing mine at a young age but I don't bath them until that are a little older. Most likely your pup will be just fine if the parents looked healthy and well groomed |
