My own experience was that we let Tia out the patio doors for potty and she caught on real quick and now taps the door with her paws.. If shes desperate we see her running to the patio door lol(only when she has a belly ache). Repitition is the answer and from 4 1/2 months shes never had one accident inside. Patience and praise and it will happen.
