Tigger the tomboy grew up with Chewy and always played with him, very active, plays catch, fetch, anything to run, most aggressive, very protective of my bf, loves men more than woman. Chewy, plays catch, not active like Tigger, sweet, love woman more than men. So it all depends on the dog because I have feel like I have a mixture of all the personalities in my three dogs. They are all so different and I love them for all different reasons.
My Rita is like your Peanut, all girly. She lays around and looks pretty. Rita only runs for two things, doorbell or dinnerbell! She gets really pissy with the boys if they jump up too close on the couch while "her magesty" is sleeping! Rita doesn't come when I call her unless it's to her advantage, if she doesn't feel like getting up, she won't, it's all about her, ya know. Scooter is my wild man, running around like he has a case of ass on fire most of the time, LOL Harley plays as best he can (8 yrs old) but is more relaxed than Scootie. They are all so different, I love each one for thier unique personalities, but to be honest, I prefer boys. I guess that's why Bandit & Peanut make boy # 3 and #4.
