Be prepared to assist the owner of the female with the whelping. Be prepared to take any additional puppies that cannot be placed in homes. Be prepared to take puppies back that have been placed that owners can't keep or the owner of the dam can't take back. Lots of responsibility when you inter the world of breeding; whether you be the owner of the female or male, one litter or more.
