Hi All,
Im looking for a private vet in the suffolk county Long Island area. After my puppy went into an anaphalectic shock after the Lepto vaccine i dont feel safe bringing my little boy back to Banfield(petsmart). They were really nice and all but i dont want to regret it later. They told me that he needs a booster shot and that if he doesnt get the vaccine and gets the lepto disease he can die. But i wouldnt want him to die from a vaccine either. So im so confused. I feel like at Banfield they dont really care if this anaphalactic shock happens again eventhouhg they said they would moniter him for the day and give him steroids and benadril. They give gim a benadril shot and it still happened.

Im looking for a vet that is a bit more conservative when it comes to vaccine so if theres any suggestion let me know.
