we had a litter in january, there were four puppies three of them looked like the traditional yorkie and one of them doesnt, we kept two of the puppies the different one and another little girl. At first we thought maybe she was a chorkie, because dogs have the ability to give birth to puppies from different male dogs at the same time. So we went on the interent to see if maybe there was such thing as a short haired yorkie, and there was no such thing, but the puppie really fit the describtion of a red legged yorkie minus the fact that they say red legged yorkies have sparse thin hair. The little puppy doesnt have thin hair, her hair is really thick , its just not long like the other yorkies, it hasnt grown past her body yet and the hair on her face is really short, she also cannot have a bow in her hair, without it being almost forced on. She is literally red legged and she has black hair, where as the other one's hair is already starting to turn blue. She has always kept us guessing and she is sooo cute and we love her, i just wish i knew more about a red legged yorkie. The picture you have posted of her as a puppy looks almost exaclty like her! so whatever is the case your yorkie isnt the only one. Ive asked the question of is she a pure blood yorkie a million times, but i guess i wont know, i did how ever see the mom and dad mate and they were both yorkies, so thats my reasoning.
