That is exactly right- I thought I would never have a male, I didnt want the marking and bad behavior but then Ryder came along and I fell for him immediately and now I am getting yet another BOY! They choose you so boy or girl it doesnt matter, check out lots of pups and see what ones want your attention! Best of luck!
