I agree with the others here. We have tons of Mosquitoes here and we keep the doggies on it year round. The ounces of prevention kind of thing.
I use Interceptor on all my babies and love it. I had a doberman puppy that had hookworms or whipworms and after the nasty medicine to get rid of them, the vet advised me that Interceptor would keep her from getting them again. And it worked. She stayed on it all of her four short years on earth and never had a worm problem again.

I looked at the like for myvetmeds that Sweet Apple recommended and their prices are amazing. Some vets will sell you the meds at the on line price if you bring them proof of the other price; kind of like Walmart. It's worth a try all they can say is they can't price match. Either way they have to write the prescription at no cost if they seen her and she's been heart worm tested and is clear. To buy it on line all you have to do is register with the site and give them your vet's information. They will call and get everything for you...it's very easy.

I don't like the revolution topical treatment as my vet told me it was recalled for not working correctly before. So I stay clear of it until the experts say otherwise.
