I think it all depends. I have a little boy Yorkie but I grew up with girl dogs. They were all very loving but only when they decided & wanted to be. Girls tend to be more stubborn, independent, and bitchy, really. They can definitely be moody. Jackson is way more laid back most of the time than the girl dogs I've ever been around, but that might just be Jackson. He definitely has his hyper, run-around, barking moments but he generally likes to settle and just chill. He's very loving and attached to me, and boys tend to become more attached to female humans and female dogs become attached to male humans but that's definitely not always the case. Gender doesn't always matter. But me personally... I will always have boy dogs after owning Jackson.

But really they are both great and have good things about both, and sometimes you will get a girl who acts like a boy and a boy who acts like a girl! LOL! It all comes down to training and teaching them wrong and right, just like humans. Many will say boys are easier to raise than girls, but it's really how you raise them, not the gender per say. Girls will always be bitchier than guys tho! :P
