This isn't an emergency or anything, I'm just shocked. Stella got spayed last Tuesday, and I've been keeping her in a onesie 24/7. That was working great, in fact, she didn't even seem to have an interest in licking or scratching at her stitches.

UNTIL last night...first, she kept us up all night. I think I've finally decided that her pain meds made her VERY hyper. She did not sleep a wink, but she normally sleeps through the night. Then, she managed to wiggle out of her onesie (no idea how she did it) TWICE. So, after the second time putting it back on her, I checked her stitches to make sure they were still ok and I put a tighter tshirt of hers over the onesie so she couldn't wiggle out of it again. But then I woke up this morning after a night of very little sleep and was changing her onesie and noticed that her stitches were GONE! Not like...pulled out and untied...just completely gone. That means she managed to bite through her onesie AND the tshirt to untie them and pull them out while they were still tied..somehow.

Thankfully she's healed enough where I don't think it'll be an issue (and it's definitely not an emergency) but I'll call the vet tomorrow to make sure. I looked everywhere for the three stitches, and I found two of them in our bed (hopefully the third one either passes or is just on the floor somewhere). I was moreso just shocked that she managed to do that without making herself hurt/bleed and through TWO layers of clothing! Anyone else have this happen before?
