I read in a book that I have that you should cut the puppies nails so they won't scratch mama while trying to nurse. I have done this since they were 2 weeks. However, now that I cut them they don't feel any smoother. Is cutting nails at this age necessary? I do have a very nice nail grinder that I was a bonus when I bought my clippers from Revival. I have yet to use the nail grinder on the adult dogs yet. Would the nail grinder be suitable?
