All of you are so helpful!! I have learned so much in such a couple of days!! Mini had a "C" on Thursday... the "corkstopper" was the 5oz little girl, feet first. Mini completely rejected her babies. She had NO Colestrum, NO Milk, NO Motherly love! She even barked and snapped at her babies, she has been hiding out under my dresser!
You taught me about Oxytoxin! Warm cloths and kneading her!
She had to have the injection to bring in her milk, plus warm cloths and kneading her teats. Milk came in about 8 hours later. Last night at 11pm we laid her on our bed, attached her babies and held her while they nursed ... at 3am I heard the cry, flipped on the light and there was Mini ... looking in at them, this time she did not have to be held!
You taught me not to give up ... and I was in tears! Now we have to find a way for her to start cleaning them!
Little by little, one step at a time!
