Hello and Welcome to YT. When looking for a puppy, you always want to see the parents of the pups. I visited my breeder a month before my Gracie was born. The parents both had cotton coats so I knew Gracie would not have a silky coat. They were both very healthy, and active, clear eyes and good dispostion. That is what I was looking for.
Of course, a cotton coat is a NIGHTMARE to manage, but I KNEW what I was getting into before she was even born.
