[Mommy to Chloe]

Have any of you used tick collars? I put one on Chloe the other day because her medication for fleas doesn't control ticks. She had it on for about 7 hours and became very lathargic and slept the whole time and threw up several times. I thought it was the comfortis (flea meds) so I got really freaked out. So I called the vet and they were on lunch. I decided to take it into my own hands and I took off the tick collar. Chloe is now back to her normal self. I guess she just couldn't handle the tick collar. Never got ahold of the vet though. Can't afford ANOTHER huge vet bill!! I'm just glad I got the problem taken care of!! So beware of those nasty little tick collars!!
