| I think she is adorable. As far as the size, my Gracie is aound 7.5 pounds (she is on a diet), but her brother (whom I rescued from a bad divorce situation) from a previous litter is 13 pounds!!!!!!
The mother and father of these dogs are the same, both around 6.5 and 7.0 pounds respectfully. Go figure?????
I rescued this dog with the help of my breeder, who of course had an interest in the welfare of Boodah (gracie's brother from previous litter).
He came from a littler of 5, just as Gracie, and he is the only one that is larger. My vet says that occasionally, genetic traits from many generations ago surface as with all of nature.
He is very healthy and very sweet and loyal. I could care less of his size, the two of them are like Karo and Syrup, and just as thick as theives.
Gracie will be 2 in May, Boodah just turned 3 this month. |
