I forgot to add, I had planned to supplement with Goats milk if I had to with a natural birth. Then the Vet gave me Nurturall-C (C for Colestrum) so I used it. I chose the Goats Milk to begin with (unused) because they don't give goats hormones like they do cows. Plus I give Mini liquid calcium, it's the 600IU Life-Line soft gel (w/Vit D). I knead a soft gel capsule, stick a pin in the end of it and squeeze a drop the size of a baby aspirin on her tongue. I also give her cottage cheese.
She had to have a Oxytocin injection to bring in her milk, plus we used warm cloths and kneaded her teats after the shot. Milk came in about 8 hours later and she is nursing them, now we have to find a way for her to start cleaning them!
