I was so turned off by her attitude, is that a reflection of how they're going to treat my Kelsey? I dont think so! So I think I'm going to stick with my vet. They are charging $171.75 for everything, bloodwork, surgery, meds, check-up....and I feel safe and trust them completely. They will need to have her stay overnight, this is normal right? Do you all think I made a right choice? |

     I believe you are
absolutely making the right choice for your baby! Spay/Neuter is definitely the healthy decision and since your local humane society really gives you no assurance that it will be safe to use their service, I believe using your own vet is a wise decision!! Other factors to be considered would be the subject of anesthesia ... our little ones are different from the other breeds ... they are small and need smaller dosages, etc.
If I were you, I would make that
7th call to the humane society!! I would identify myself, announce this as my 7th and final call and briefly let them know that they would not have to look forward to seeing my baby!!! But, that's just me!
