i am just curious as why a 5 months old yorkie is being sold at the store; usually they are puppies when sold; like 10 weeks or so. i think 3.5 lbs for 5 1/2 months is kind of skinny; i remember when i had ava she was about 9 or 10 weeks and she weighed 3.5lbs; and let me tell you ; she wouldn't eat either ; she had a lot of problems. eventhough i spent a lot of money on her; i am glad i kept her because she needed me and she shows gratidute now. however, yours is 5 1/2 monts and let's hope she wasn't starving all that time. i would suggest another vet and tell them that she's not eating or drinking; let them take a blood test, urine test and poop tests. by the way is she urinating ok? how often? and how about her gum color; it should be pink; if it's white or pale then she needs immediate medical help. anyway, like the other person suggested i would get the petstore to pay for all the expenses; they should have a waranty on the dog's health. again i will question why a 5 1/2 months old yorkie was kept at the store?
