I love EVERYTHING about Koltrane and Karmy! Three years ago, I wanted to have a third child, I gave my husband the choice of me having a baby or him purchasing me a Yorkie. (He previously told me that he was NOT going to allow us to get another dog). He told me to get a Yorkie however; he was not going to have nothing to do with my dog. When we finally got a chance to bring my baby yorkie home, my husband name him, Koltrane, during our hour drive home. This same process took place two years later when I was allowed to get Karmy. This time the drive home was nine hours.
Our two human children are teenagers who have very active social lives. They only hang out with me for a little while each day, whereas Koltrane is always by my side.
What I love about Koltrane:
* the way he tries to bite my son whenever he comes in my room, jump on my bed and tickles me
*the way he is always by my side and whenever he wonders away and I call his name in a panic, he comes running
*because he is so small, sometimes I lose him, when he is standing behind me: when that occurs, he jumps on my leg as if to say, “I’m right here”
*the way he wakes my husband up instead of me to take him outside to potty
*the way he stands on the back of the sofa to look out the window
*the way he knows my routine and anticipate my next movement
What I love about Ms. Karmy:
* she is the total opposite of Kole
*she wanders around the house trying to see what everyone is doing; she divides her time with everyone in the family
*the way she stands at the top of the stairs and ponder if she is going to come downstairs and sleep with me or stay upstairs and sleep with one of my children
*the way she is so independent until she sees my son’s husky then she runs and hide behind my legs
*the way she makes my husband pick her up
*the way she takes ALL the toys out of the toy baskets and place them all over the floor in their assigned place
