Don't forget heartworm meds. 1 pill a month is about $15. And in the spring and summer flea and tick meds. About $30 a dose (1 per 4-6 weeks)

I just paid $2000.00 for Trixie when she was in the hosptal. One minute they are fine...the next they are sick. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis and is fine now but I almost lost her. Was completely unexpected. Luckily I have a wonderful husband who loves these babies and had no problem paying for the unexpected bill. I had to put it on credit. So we just pinch in a little for a while. What can you do, these things happen. You really have to be ready for anything.
