I would check with your vet before you do. I give it to Gizmo (12 years old) because he had knee surgery 2 years ago. When I ask my vet at the clinic I manage if I could give it to Barkley he said it is not a good idea to give it to puppies. He gave me a reason but I don't remember what he said.
I still give it to Giz but not to Barkley.
