Just ask! I think it's pretty stupid that the dose is the same size for a 200 lbs dog as it is our little ones
Make sure you remind the vet what happened last time. They may want to give him a preventative med to help with any reactions (that's what happened, I'm assuming?)
If your vet won't listen, find a new vet
