Vet's have only had about 1 hour of nutrition class in the 6 years of school. If you start digging into all the people, Vets. and such that "claim" they are experts, you will notice how diverse their opinions are on nutrition. Fact is, there are no real experts in this field simply because there has been no lengthy study over the years. It's just a ploy to sell books and such since this day and age people are treating their dogs like their kids and spending a great deal of money on them. What helps or is good for one dog can make another dog very ill. It's trial and error the whole way.
