At this age puppies milk teeth are coming in and they are sharp. She maybe reluctant to feed them because of this and may pick up the nursing again in a few days. Mother's milk begins to change consistency at about 5 weeks, coincedental that teeth start coming in at the same time. Great time to begin the weaning process... Some moms continue nursing until 10 weeks of age; I know mine do, but I think at that age it's just a comfort thing, satisfying their sucking instincts.
