That's funny you should post this question because I just asked Simba's doctor last week, who I have worked with in the past, because Simba LOVES scrambled eggs! Simba didn't like what the doctor said. Assuming your dog is a Yorkie, no more than 1/2 egg a week (sorry!) because of their size. The main issue is the amount of cholestrol. Then I asked about Egg Beaters or any other type of egg substitute. She said that still keep it to a minimum of 1/2 an egg portion twice a week. This is mainly because of their size, and I hate to disappoint my sweetie pie, but I don't give him anything else but what the doctor tells me. I've worked in the veterinary field for almost 9 years, and I feel that this amount of egg in their little systems is right. I hope this helps you.
