Yesterday, Sammy lived to see another check up...whoo-hoo!
She continues to amaze our Vet (& all of us!) with her progress even tho' he cautions us that we've got a long road ahead...
Here are her latest (still abnormal) blood results:
RBC - 4.10 (up from 2.26)
HCT - 32.3 (up from 16.7)
HGB - 10.5 (up from 6.7)
She will continue her Immunosuppressant medications (including Prednisone 20mg daily)...I did ask about the dangers of her being on this dose of Prednisone for over a month and longer and was told that she doesn't have a choice...because of what she's fighting.
So...if you all can keep Miss Sammy in your thoughts & prayers...we REALLY do appreciate it!
