Anyone interested in a meet up in CT? I am from Western Ma near the CT border. Has anyone been to
Harkness State Park -------right on the ocean. Dogs are allowed on leash but not right on the beach/sand ( no swimming allowed) area during the spring/ summer months. However, there is an enormous expanse of beautiful lawn. Think Newport mansion ( the Harkness family mansion) ---beautiful gardens-----lawn----restroom facilities. There is a picnic area, good parking (low price) and more. Spend a relaxing day by the sea with your yorkie or any other well behaved dog. Google Harmess State Park in CT. to see pictures.
