its a puppy exam
same as any other exam, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, stomach, fur, feet, joints and some do a fecal and some get the first shots with the vet as well..a good vet check means the puppy healthy was free of any obvious signs of disease...some people go above and get blood testing and so forth as well .
