Aww you have enough love for both. I know how you feel, though. When I had my dtr I had a male yorkie, Zorro who was 6 years old and we were so attached to each other. When I came home from the hospital (I had never spent a night away from him before), I had my Mom carry my dtr in and put her in the crib. I went right to my bedroom and Zorro was a little mad at me at first but quickly came over for some loving. The next day when I was holding my dtr in my arms, she had a little hat on because she was preemie and my sweet mild mannered Zorro snatched her hat right off her head. After that he was fine. He would lay right by her when she was in her carrier on the floor. Also when I was holding my dtr he would sit in my lap too. So try not to stress about it, it will be fine. How is your little guy doing?
