I noticed this afternoon that Molly started her heat. I believe this is her second, but I have only had her for a little over a month, she is 1.5 years old and a rehome. So this is my first heat! My husband and I have never had a female dog before, so we are clueless! It looks like a small amount right now, but will it get messy? How long does it last? Do I have to do anything special for her? We were going to try to get her spayed before she went into heat, but we are too late. Any advise would be appreciated!
