Unfortunately your right, it is pretty bad. I used to work for a vet surgeon and we did many types of surgery to remove cancers. We also had an oncologist in the office so after recuperation from surgery the dogs would usually see the oncologist. Many dogs did very well. I do not know a lot about oncology. i have seen hair loss from certain types of chemo that was done on specific areas. Their hair all over does change texture, usually becoming softer and can change color in certain areas. Chemo on dogs and cats is a lot different then chemo on people. They aren't as stressed and don't get as sick as people. I think you should talk to the oncologist and see what she has to say on the subject.
