If you can't find someone you know to take her, perhaps look around for an in-home puppy sitter (local classifieds or word of mouth recommendation?) or a boarding kennel (they usually give discounts for extended stays). Boarding probably wouldn't be a fun option, but as a last resort I would suggest that. Maybe if you find a boarding place they would give you a discount if you helped out with dog walking or something? I've known people with OCD & their garage is even spotless...but if your mother isn't that way, perhaps you could set up a pen in the garage for your little one? Or keep her in your room at all times with the door closed? I am sad for you, I know it is heart breaking! I had a horrible time when I had to leave for a weekend & couldn't find anyone to watch my babies. I ended up boarding them and they got through it OK. Good luck - fingers are crossed for you!
