Hello!

Hope someone can shed some light on our situation with our Yorkie!

Pancakes is 4 months old, we have had him for 4 weeks. He has been such a joy! Sleeping through the night, playing well with other dogs, playing well with people, learning to walk on a leash, loves his crate...but we live ina condo and we are haivng a hard time house training him!

Our breeder said that he was litter box trained, so we went out and purchased a littler box used the same litter that the breeder was using and have introduced the box to Pancakes upon his first day's arrival.

We have him setup in a crate...bed, drinking water and litter box. There's no extra room for accidents. And he loves it in there, no whinning, barking, pawing to get out.

He is in his crate whenever we are not able to be supervising him and at night time.

We are taking him outside to potty train and that has been going well, very few accidents.

At night he uses his litter box to pee in, and occasionally during the day when we have to leave him alone for a few hours while we are at work ( 2 days a week he's alone, 3 days a week Pancakes is in Doggy day care) but most times he will just hold it...I mean for hours!

Just yesterday....we came home and he messed right outside his litter box??

What is happening with him...he used the litter box to pee in and has used it before to mess in but now...he's not using it during the day he is left at home??

HELP!!!!
