Nashville is a fairly relaxed airport most days if that makes you feel any better! What part of KY are they from? I'm an Owensboro native myself, so BNA is kinda my most frequented airport!
I dunno if the question was already answered, but a health certificate is something the vet has to fill out for you. I've flown with my Xavier a few times and they've never asked for it, but it is mandatory with most airlines. I only ever fly Delta though. Most airlines will let you go ahead and reserve the space for your pup when you book the tickets btw. I called periodically though just to be sure they kept that spot for me.
