When we got Milo he had already been given some of his shots including the Lepto as a part of a combination shot. When we took him to our vet, she said that Lepto was not necessary for a dog living in NYC and questioned why it had been given to him by breeder. She also staggered the shots and rabies was given alone. This way you can watch for reactions to a particular shot.
