Leo hated being put in his crate...in fact he is about 2 years old and still hates being put in his crate. I tried everything and he would bark his head off. For 20 minutes straight he would bark. I only put him in his crate when I absolutely have to. He is potty trained so I can leave him loose in the house when we are gone. The strange thing is that the few times I have had to leave him with someone away from the house he would go into his crate on his own.
