Little question.....is the poo a brown color? If it's yellowish then that is an entirely different story. Cocoa weighs 3 lbs. and has had huge stools all of her life. Never could understand. Then all of a sudden her stools became yellowish. Turns out she has EPI....the pancreas is not producing an enzyme necessary to digest her food. Carbs are more difficult to digest than protein. She is now on an enzyme that comes from an animal's pancreas and on a 1-carb, no-grain kibble. Stools are now tiny and brown. The vet thinks that she has had difficulty digesting food all her life but it has just come to a head. Possibly the pancreas is atrophying. Do hope not because that will mean diabetes. ~Joanne~
