My girl is in heat as well. From everything I have read, including reference books, these threads and research online most breeders breed their dams on the 9th-14th day of bleeding, with 2-3 good ties between the pair they usually called it good. My girl will be on her ninth day of bleeding on Monday. So I will let her tie with my male Monday (9th day), Wednesday (11th day), and Friday (13th day) just once. It gives both dogs rest inbetween so that neither will get tired. I will also have my husband holding one of the dogs to make sure that the breeding is complete and supervised. Good luck to you and I'm sure that both of us will be expecting puppies about the same time in October.
