Thanks everyone. I was able to give her some boiled chicken and we had chinese food last night so I gave her some of the white rice and put chicken broth on it, she gobbled all of that up--almost 1/2 the chicken tenderloin I chopped up for her! I've never seen her eat so much in one sitting! Anyway, she's still completely uninterested in her kibble, but as long as she continues to eat her chicken and rice (and some dried sweet potato treats she LOVES) I won't worry too much. But I am going to have the fiance bring home some canned pumpkin because she hasn't done a #2 since before her surgery (a day and a half ago).
Does anyone know if they usually eat the pumpkin willfully or do you have to kinda force it? |
