How old before you know for sure what type of coat they have? Tobie is almost 8 months and I can't figure out if he still has a bit of his puppy coat or if he just has a cotton coat. His coat actually reflects light quite a bit and looks more silky around his head chest and legs but the hair on his back is more fluffy. Oh, and he does have the "blue" color showing.
Oh, sorry I don't have an answer to your question... if Tobie has a cotton coat then I would like to know the same thing
