Sprinkles is 5 plus months old and we are planning to microchip him this week or next. He will be neutered next month or end of this month... we are planning to do the neutering and microchipping at 2 different hospitals as they are cheaper that way.

Is anesthesia required for microchipping? whats your experience? reason i am asking is he will be "sleeping" when getting neutered..
