Yes it is the parents responsibility to shape and influence their children. But in this country we have too many children living in homes that do NOT have that type of parent. If we did then there would be no need for police departments and jails! How many young men (and women) do you think are out there right this very minute getting their dogs ready to fight. I agree Lou, in a perfect world there would be parents that would be there for their children but it's not a perfect world and never will be. Now with this economy parents who were on top of things are working more hours and have no idea the influence sports adoration has on their child.
