Just want to give another vote to not use the lunch meat! Everyone else has already give excellent advice as to other options. Don't cave in and give something that could cause health problems now or down the line.

BTW I have read many threads where people said their dog would not eat at all, had not eaten for days, would starve if they did not give something in specific. But, I have never read even one post where anyone's dog really did die from starvation when they were being offered good quality dog food. I had a few of mine hold out too, but they will all eventually eat.
