They go into heat roughly every 6 months, from what I understand.

I did some research on YT and found out several questions to ask the vet, including do they intubate ahead of time, is the table heated, how do they monitor the heart rate, what type of gas do they use, etc, etc. My vet actually said that she prefers to do the surgery on small dogs since there is less to work around/with. Meg's on the spay waitlist at the vet, but I still haven't made up my mind...
