Some fixed males dont bother I think it can depend on what age they were neutered. If they'd reached ful maturity he could show interest or even try to mate her. I'll be giong through the same thing as you in a few months as I have a male who was fixed at 11months and just taking interest in females so to be safe when Rosie goes through her first heat they'll only be out together if some-one is around to keep an eye on them. They cant breed but they could tie and that could do alot of damage to my little girl. Best to err on the side of caution if you can and keep them seperate if your not there to make sure no accidents happen.
