I am sorry your pup was knicked but consider yourself lucky in a sence.
I have read dogs loosing ears or pieces of ear's right here on YT.
One Yorkie even got stitches in the neck due to a gouge from the
scissors. Learn to groom yourself it's not that hard. Will
they let you stay and view next time? Perhaps you will feel better
doing that. These things happen all the time unfortunately. They
shouldn't but they do. Glad she was not hurt worse.
